Reaper's Lament prologue A+BIt was a cold and humid night in this peaceful suburban area. The crickets and owls and other creatures of the night were silent as it was nearing daybreak. The father, elderly and slightly frail, was sleeping in his chair. The mother, younger and with much more of a lust for life, was just awoken by nature's airs. The son of the family, readying for work at the local pharmacy, screamed in horror as a vile creature appeared from the shadows. This creature appeared somewhat humanoid, with a pale yellow skin, coal black eyes that could peer into a man's very soul, and claws that rivaled the sharpest of blades.
